Discipleship is the core and most important phase in the Club Alpha Omega vision. It is the glue that grows people from the investigative to the outreach and missions phase. Lifelong Discipleship (big D) is provided by involvement with the local church or chapel and self study/prayer. This is why each club should be a part of a local church or chapel and plant Young Adults in good, Bible-believing, Spirit-filled churches or chapels if they are already not part of one.

Club Alpha Omega recommends the We Build People philosophy of discipleship. We have renamed the bases of growth for use in Club Alpha Omega, but have maintained their teachings. Base 1. Body Builders (Membership) is followed by Base 2. Faith Builders (Maturity), Base 3. Team Builders (Ministry) and finally Base 4. Bridge Builders (Missions). The course can be given in as little as 5 months.

Our perspective is that if earthly kingdoms can turn around civilians to members of their militaries in 3 months, than we can do the same for the armies of the Kingdom of Heaven. We can and will get Young Adults prepared for service as soon as possible (remembering that we are always unfinished works in progress).

We desire that each Club have flexibility and creativity in courses offered as long as they adhere to our Hard Rock Statement of Faith. Our recommendation is We Build People, however if the local church or chapel has a successful and SHORT TERM (4-6 month) discipleship course, then by all means the local club should use it.

Lastly, the Discipleship Goal of Club Alpha Omega is to have the Win, Build, and Send phases operating at the same time with different people at different growth levels. Corporate food fellowship and worship followed by break-out interactive Groups by growth level is recommended.

Small clubs should rotate through the courses one at a time but always work towards promoting graduates to leading future courses (if they are of good character and the Lord confirms their witness). This is discipleship through leadership - very effective indeed! Whether the club grows numerically can wait, it will grow spiritually as its membership grows in knowledge, wisdom, and maturity. When a club grows numerically to the point where it can sustain the Big Three in One (Win, Build, Send at One Time) the Discipleship Goal of Club Alpha Omega is achieved.
